-If they cannot afford it to travel to us, they can talk to us via Skype or MSN.

-It is the cheapest way while the most convenient, as they can do it from wherever they are.

-It is a real- life situation, as the student will not speak to a recording but to a real person with whom they can practise conversation and make enquiries.

-Levels and specialties: all levels and specialties (as seen on the rest of our site) are available.

-Class duration: twenty minutes.

-Subject selection: the subject of each class will be in accordance with the course that the student has already chosen.

-Meeting time: a schedule will be set up and agreed upon for each student.

-Fees payment: students pay the local agent who will -in turn- pay us.

Our pupils study Spanish in a highly motivating environment, a crucial factor for an easy, pleasurable and long-lasting learning process.

The outstanding natural resources around us are best used to provide the students ideal working conditions.

A sheep farm and two farmhouses close to town but away from the noise have been chosen to accommodate our visitors , with the comfort that the activity requires.

There they don't only rest. Theoretical and practical activities take place in a cozy environment, fit for small groups, cared for with utmost dedication.

WHO WE ARE

The Language department is led by Prof. Ricardo Lagiard, who spent over thirty years in the teaching world at different levels. Initially, a Primary school teacher (Spanish), specialized in Music and then became a Teacher of English as a Foreign Language at the Patagonian Institute of English.

Prof. Miguel Maldonado is in charge of the Spanish section. He holds a degree as a Teacher of Spanish from the University of Tucuman and fifteen years’ experience in teaching at various levels plus several post-grade courses.

Prof. Graciela Pugh holds a degree as a Teacher of Spanish from the University of Patagonia and seven years’ experience in teaching, apart from performing at other avenues of Education.

On call free-lance lecturers are usually available when necessary.

Recently, Southern Cross Tours has been acknowledged by the National Secretariat of Tourism as a Registered Language-Teaching organisation. See List of organisations.
